Dane Cook: Chuck BOMBS! Hee Hee!

On the heels of my being rejected by Dane Cook (accept it, I'm not gonna get over it, so there), I must say nanny nanny boo boo! Here are some excerpts from several reviews of Good Luck Chuck:


Boston Globe- 1 star
"This is excruciating and exasperatingly unfunny, like standing under a piñata that yields no treats regardless of how many times you beat it."


"Cook works hard to be funny and stay likable. But respectability doesn't suit him. Either that or movies don't. He hasn't yet found a way to get laughs out of being a nice guy in a romantic comedy."

"Cook, who showed potential as a cool slacker in last year's "Employee of the Month," is haggard and desperate this time. His timing is terrible - blame rookie director Mark Helfrich - and he frequently seems to be trying to wrestle laughs out of the air. The script - which is as awkward as a sixth-grader at his first dance - succeeds only during a series of scenes that call for Cook to be intentionally unfunny."

Here's the kicker: think about how much freaking money was spent in marketing Good Luck Chuck. It's been ALL OVER for the past month. So, Dane, you see??? You musn't take your fans for granted. You should have taken a picture with Suz when she politely asked you to! You can't only communicate and be nice to your fans on MySpace--that's way too easy. Then I would have supported you by going to see your box office flopperoosky.

Bachelor No. 2 better be damn good or else Dane Cook could be the next Ben Affleck. The pressure is ON!!!!
